Two modes – protection for every route
Riding Mode is the Dainese system, available on the latest generation of D-air® garments, that lets you choose the airbag use mode depending on whether you’re on the road or the track. The right mode selection offers you the greatest possible safety for the conditions you’re going to face.
ROAD MODE
The system recognizes the dynamics of dangerous situations on the road and activates to protect the rider from impact against asphalt, obstacles and other vehicles.
COLLISION WITH AN OBSTACLE
IMPACT CAUSED BY A VEHICLE
HIGH-SIDE: The rider is thrown off the bike due to rear wheel slip followed by immediate recovery of grip.
LOW-SIDE with or without rolling: The front or rear wheel loses grip and the rider rolls or slips.
RACING MODE
Developed through on-track experience with the great MotoGP™ champions, the system recognizes dangerous dynamics in circuit riding and activates to protect the rider’s most sensitive areas.
HIGHSIDE: The rider is thrown off the bike due to rear wheel slip followed by immediate recovery of grip.
LOWSIDE with and without rolling: The front or rear wheel loses grip and the rider rolls or slips.
D-air® Racing Shield 3X
D-air® Racing Shield 3X is the latest version of the D-air® airbag integrated into track suits. The system is certified to support three system activations, with no need for replacement.
Dainese D-air® FRS (Fast Replacement System) technology means that the user can replace the gas generator of the Dainese D-air® system autonomously without the need for official assistance. It’s the highest level of protection, and even more versatile, always with you.
